TYPES
OF SENTENCES
A sentence is a group of words that expresses a
compete idea.
There are 4 types of sentences:

1. STATEMENTS: is a sentence that
tells something. Examples: ·
He is singing a song. ·
She went to the zoo yesterday. ·
They are cooking pasta now. |
2. QUESTIONS: is a sentence that asks
something. Examples: ·
Where do you work? ·
Are you married? ·
Do you have a boyfriend / girlfriend? |

3. COMMANDS: a sentence that tells someone to
do something. Examples: ·
Quiet ·
Make your bed ·
Pay attention |
4. EXCLAMATIONS: is a sentence that
express emotions or strong feelings. Examples: ·
Hey! That’s my cycle! ·
Oh! I’m sorry. ·
Are
you crazy?! |
